A Photographer's Love Story
Both Michael and I got into photography at a young age, long before we met. My first experiences with photography were actually with disposable film cameras! I took them everywhere and would take pictures of anything and everything. In high school, I started taking classes using my first 'real' camera, a small point and shoot. Over the years my style has changed a bit, and my love for photography has only grown stronger. Michael began taking photos at a young age with his mom and he inherited many of her techniques and skills. Michael's mom is an art teacher and taught Michael the basics of photography at a very young age. Growing up in a small town gave him many opportunities to photograph natural scenes and grow artistically.
Before Michael and I started dating, I was working on a project for a photography class and had not invested in a tripod yet (we were still in high school and I was just getting started). I posted on social media looking for one to borrow. Michael had one and was the first to offer to let me borrow it. Little did I know that Michael had a major crush on me! Not long after that, Michael worked up the courage to ask me out. We started dating and after four years we were finally married on August 13th, 2016.
Through the years of our relationship, photography has always been a primary focus. Photoshoots occur on a pretty regular basis and we can't ever go on a date without taking a selfie! We love to travel to new places and experience beautiful hikes and road trips. We cherish the pictures we have and want you to enjoy the same satisfaction through stunning imagery. ✨Equipment - We use only the best of Canon's modern mirrorless cameras and L series lenses. Plus, we always back your photos up to the cloud as soon as we get done shooting to ensure no photos will ever be lost. This is a key part of our process that is often missed among most other photographers (shockingly 😲). Lastly, we use color calibrated monitors when editing to ensure that the photos you receive look perfect when printed, with outstanding color accuracy.
